Below are the Staff that make up Team SUSO:
Karen Keen – Future Projects Director
Karen has been with SUSO since the very beginning helping it to grow from a small Self-Advocacy group that met once a week, to the four day a week drop-in it is today. Karen’s current role has her looking forward at future planning and funding for SUSO.
Clare Roberts – Drop-in Manager
Clare has been at SUSO since May 2013 and manages the day to day running of the drop-in. Clare helps SUSO raise awareness by arranging community talks with dropper-inners. She also runs activity session at the drop-in one and a half days a week. Activities include SUSO skills, committee meetings and Being Seen Being Heard groups.
Megan Possart – 5 Ways To Well-Being Coordinator
Megan has been with SUSO since April 2017 and runs activities at the drop-in 2 and a half days a week.Activities include all elements of the 5WWB (connect, take notice, give, be active, and keep learning). Alongside this Megan runs regular social activities including the increasingly popular tuesday night Pub Quiz at the local Macc Pub.
Carla Grant – Business Support
Carla has been at SUSO since October 2017 and is the newest member to our team. Carla works in the office and keeps track of SUSO’s finances including taking and recording everyone’s subs. She also draws our monthly 100 Club and makes sure the lucky winners knows who they are.
Alongside our friendly team of Staff we have a wonderful and dedicated team of 16 volunteers that help support what we do here at the drop-in.
