On Saturday 1st July, we visited Congleton park to take part in the Volunteer festival. There were lots of stalls and charities celebrating their volunteers and giving out information about themselves. We also got to see a dog show, which had the best lady dog, the best senior dog and more. There were loads of different music and dance performances all through the day from choirs to street dance to keep us entertained.  A group of dropper inners from SUSO also performed on stage singing and signing Makaton to the Queen classic ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ and The Beatles song ‘A little Help from My Friends’. The crowd loved us and we got a big cheer and round of applause when we had finished.

Along with performing, Dropper Inners also helped on the stall giving out leaflets and giving people information about the drop in. We had an amazing day and we got to share what we do here at the drop in with a lot of new people.
